On Friday we reported that there was a new art of the Star Trek movie book coming in November, just in time for the release of the film on DVD and Blu-ray. Today Titan Books sent us some more detailed information on the coffe-table book, along with a high resolution version of the cover.

Book to reveal evolution of new Star Trek
According to the publisher Star Trek producer/director JJ Abrams "has given Titan his seal of approval to reveal all on the incredible production, unveiling for the first time all the behind-the-scenes workings of the film, from start to finish." From the sound of it, this art book may also act as a bit of a ‘making of book’ as well.

Specifically, New York Times-bestselling author Mark Cotta Vaz has worked in close co-operation with the film’s production team in putting together the 160 page illustrated hardcover. According to Titan, the book will "trace the evolution of the movie’s look", including "a stunning and totally unseen array of pre-production paintings, concept sketches, costume and set designs, unit photography and final frames." As noted in our last article, the coffee-table book also includes an exclusive foreword from J.J. Abrams himself.
